Gel4Plugs RooTiT is the first rooting gel specifically formulated
for use with propagating plugs/blocks.
It roots in 3-4
days, no visible wilt, more root development and happy
stress free clones from day one!
This fantastic product
comes in a gel that stays firm in your plug replacing the
need for hormone rooting powder.
Gel4Plugs RooTiT , unlike other rooting gels,
is placed directly into the central dibble of the plug.
Just 1 ml or less is sufficient to ensure rooting of softwood cuttings.
The gel contains indole butyric acid and other active
ingredients to ensure effective rooting and healthy root growth.
The product is patented and fully approved by PSD.
Gel4Plugs RooTiT is a unique formulation and is synergistic with
the plug, producing vigorous roots with minimum maintenance.
It loses hydration very slowly within a moist
plug and so delivers its active ingredients over a long period.
This ensures maximum effect of its active ingredients.
The gel forms a seal around the cut surface of the
cutting, aiding uptake and helping prevent dehydration and infection.
In extensive trials a wide variety of garden plants, including Forsythia,
Buddleia, Hydrangea, Hebe, Box and Roses have been rooted.
Using Gel4plugs the time taken for first root formation has been reduced,
more roots per cutting developed and faster root growth achieved.
It is economical in use and, providing the plugs remain moist,
success rates are extremely high.
It will work equally effectively with Rockwool, Peat, fibre or combination plugs.
Outstanding performance has been achieved with FLEXIMIX® plugs.
Instructions for use.
The Gel can be used to root softwood and hardwood
cuttings. Use in conjunction with propagation plugs (e.g.
Fleximix, Rockwool or Jiffy 7 peat or coir plugs, Does not
work well with Root Riot due to preformed hole size)
1. Saturate plugs as usual with either water or dilute
nutrients.
2. Turn bottle upside down and shake gel into nozzle.
3. Immediately place open nozzle into the preformed
hole in a plug and squeeze the bottle to dispense gel in
each plug.
4. Push a cutting firmly through the gel in each plug.
5. Cuttings should ideally be held in a propagator. The
gel will not dry out provided plugs are kept moist.
However, additional gel can be squirted around stems at
any time.It will work equally effectively with Rockwool, Peat, fibre
