To avoid excessive heat build up, you need to use one of these vertical growing cool shade reflectors which allow you to achieve all round light distribution whilst also enabling you to extract lamp heat away quickly and efficiently.

There are 2 different diameter cool shades available, both identical in construction to a traditional cool shade except minus the internal reflector (to allow 360 degree light distribution) the 125mm (5') Vertical Growing Cool Shade is 480mm long and should be used for 250-600 Watt lamps whilst the 150mm (6') Vertical Growing Cool Shade is 595mm long and should be used with 1000 Watt lamps. both sizes are supplied with a cable fitted to an IEC kettle plug.

Simple and very effective way of ensuring you chosen lamp runs cool enabling it to be positioned directly above the plant without the risk of heat damage.

These brilliant light fittings take 90% of the heat away from your plants so you can control your environment easily and achieve maximum rated lumen delivery from your lamps.

A Fan is required to aircool these lights.
